The owner of this beloved craftsman home desired additional functional living space, while respecting the original bungalow neighborhood scale and character. Rather than building up, we fully remodeled the existing lower level footprint – including increasing the ceiling height by over two feet. This allowed for full height comfortable living spaces with ample daylight. A bright new stair column addition connects the lower level to the main living areas above.
